Because it’s time for me to step up and lead.

I have done enough primary research and now it’s time to problem solve out of this mess.

Roman Catholic and now Anglican.

How do your personal values shape your leadership, and what are those values?

I value loyalty and progress.

How would you balance your personal beliefs with your responsibility to represent all Kelowna residents?

I’ll represent Kelowna residents as if they were my family or best friend.

How would you like to see city spending prioritized?

Solve Homelessness.

What role, if any, do you think City Council should have in setting standards for materials and programming available to minors in city-funded facilities and public libraries?

None, this is a provincial education matter.

What role do you believe parental consent and notification should play when a minor makes personal disclosures or requests support from a school counsellor, and what exceptions, if any, should apply?

This is a tough one however; privacy and confidentiality should be maintained between counsellor and student.

What steps would you like to see taken to increase transparency and accountability at City Hall?

Allow the media greater access to staff, mayor, and council.

What public safety issues are you seeing in Kelowna, and how do you believe these issues should be addressed?

Once you fix homelessness, crime will drop dramatically and public safety can be restored.

What do you think can be done locally to bring down the cost of housing?

Use crown land to buildout entry level cabin style units that mirror a campground setting with a community feel.

What policies would you support to help stimulate Kelowna’s job market?

Bring back the railway and industry. If you can’t have a mill in town then build a pellet plant. Replicate Lavington.

In addition, attract a financial industry that replicates Vancouver or Toronto. There is tonnes of wealth in the Okanagan. Time to innovate in the financial industry.

What ideas do you have to better balance infrastructure and city growth?

There is tonnes of land, innovate and get smarter about how we build out this city. We should be an example to the entire country on how a city can be built and sustainable for all.
